Add a new event
Before proceeding with this tutorial, make sure you already have an Events page ready. If you don’t have one yet, check out the tutorial on how to Add an Events list.
1.) From your WordPress dashboard, go to Events > Add New. This will create a new event page for you.
2.) In the New Event page editor, define the event name (title) and details (content), then set the date as well as time (or time duration). You also have the option of adding an image to go with your event.
That’s it! Your newly created event is now live on your Events page. Depending on the event’s date and the date today, the event automatically gets categorized as either Upcoming or Past – no need to manually update anything.
